Vanilla Bunny Tails

Ingredients:


Preparation:

  1. Cream butter/margarine and sugar
  2. Add egg yolk and Cook's Pure Cookie Vanilla Extract; beat well
  3. Add flour and mix well
  4. Refrigerate 2 hours
  5. Roll into 30 1" balls
  6. Place on ungreased cookie sheet
  7. Press one jelly bean into the middle of each ball
  8. Bake at  300ºF for 20-25 minutes
  9. Cool, then sift powdered sugar over cookies, if desired

Variation: Substitute 1 tsp. jam or jelly for the jelly bean in each cookie. Using a greased thimble, or your finger, make a hole in each ball, then fill with jam or jelly and bake as above.
