Vanilla Bunny Tails
Ingredients:
- 2/3 cup butter or margarine
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 egg yolk
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 1 tsp. Cook's Pure Cookie Vanilla Extract
- 30 jelly beans
- Powdered sugar
Preparation:
- Cream butter/margarine and sugar
- Add egg yolk and Cook's Pure Cookie Vanilla Extract; beat well
- Add flour and mix well
- Refrigerate 2 hours
- Roll into 30 1" balls
- Place on ungreased cookie sheet
- Press one jelly bean into the middle of each ball
- Bake at 300ºF for 20-25 minutes
- Cool, then sift powdered sugar over cookies, if desired
Variation: Substitute 1 tsp. jam or jelly for the jelly bean in each cookie. Using a greased thimble, or your finger, make a hole in each ball, then fill with jam or jelly and bake as above. Recipe Ingredients
