I have used Cook's Vanilla Powder to bake gluten-free bread every week for years, gluten-free chocolate chip cookies, and gluten-free waffles. Used a 5 lb jar in 2.5 years.

Have had a couple of small jars of Cook's Pwd. vanilla around for several years, but rarely reached for it 'cause I grew up with, and was only familiar with, liquid vanilla extract. Started using the Cook's a couple weeks ago after receiving one of Cuisinart's simple ice cream makers. Vanilla extract was just not coming through in a way my taste buds could detect in a cold product. The Cook's made all the difference in the world -- opening up the flavor in Dutch chocolate sorbet, and supporting the aromatics in fruit ice creams like bing cherry & peach. Just made another batch of the choc. sorbet, but didn't have sufficient Cook's left to make it shine like the others. Glad to find it online & hope the 5# jar gets here soon. Why did I wait so long to play with this product?

It makes things that should be white, white!!! I use it in my biscuits, muffins, and cakes. Powdered is so much easier to use than liquid and tastes the same. Yeah!!!

Cook's "Heaven-sent" Vanilla Powder, Jan 17, 2009

We use Cook's Vanilla Powder for making brown (or white) rice-cashew "milk." Place a little less than 3 cups freshly cooked rice in a blender together with 1/4 teaspoon salt; 1 rounded teaspoon Cook's Vanilla Powder; 1/2 cup raw, unsalted cashews microwaved 2 minutes in water to cover and drained; cold water to the 4 7/8 cup mark; honey to the 5 1/4 mark. Blend until smooth. Use a Vita Mix Blender for great results, or perhaps mix 1/2 batch at time. Bring to boil before storing in refrigerator if you want to extend shelf life beyond 4 days. Use this "milk" on cereal, in pancakes, cream soups or in coffee. Makes great hot chocolate or carob and it's wonderful in vegan "ice cream," flavored with freezer berry jam with Cook's Premium Berry Extracts.

Years ago we found we like real vanilla powder in our coffee so I began ordering the powder from you. This year I decided to get an even bigger amount because it goes down fast. This is a terrific product when you want some vanilla flavor for fresh fruit, cocoa, shakes, hot tea. I also add some powdered ginger for some snap in hot tea.

I love to use Pure Vanilla Powder. I like to bake cookies and other baked items. I mix the vanilla powder in with my dry ingredients and it works great. I also like that the vanilla powder doesn't have any alcohol in it.

I use vanilla powder in all of my baking. It is great. I mix the powder in with the dry ingredients in most of my reicpes. I also like that it doesn't have any alcohol in it. I have used it for years and never want to go back to liquid vanilla. If I need it in liquid form, I just mix it with water.

This is the same yummy vanilla powder Starbucks puts out for customers to sprinkle in their coffee. My husband loves it, but it's not for sale anywhere locally. So eventually I asked the Starbucks staff to show me their supply and I saw it was a Cook's product. Now I order it in bulk directly, and I get big bonus points on the spouse-o-meter!

I am a baker. Not professional but do enough to be fussy about what ingredients I use. The powdered vanilla is wonderful and puts a great flavor in everything I bake. My teenagers use it to make blended coffees. YUM YUM This vanilla makes it taste just like you went to a coffee shop BUT we don't pay $4-$5 per drink!! Love it

This is a great product for making a vanilla tea latte - just make your tea, add the vanilla (about 1/2 to 3/4 tsp.) and some warm milk. Delicious!

I love this stuff. I make tons of sugar cookies throughout the year and I use this vanilla powder to add to the glaze type icing for the cookies. The glaze is very tasteless without the vanilla powder and makes all the difference in taste. This vanilla powder has an incredible taste. Love it!

We found this when we were in Las Vegas years ago I use it in almost everthing,(it will make your pop go flat)it won't change the color like liq. vanilla does. We have trouble getting clear vanilla in our small town.Easy to use and taste amazing! Thanks A Ks. Cook
