A delicate blend of Madagascar and Tahitian vanilla beans, this intensely aromatic vanilla showcases Cook’s dramatic flair for flavoring. While it can be used anywhere you would add vanilla, this extract earned its name as a “secret ingredient” in cookies. Ken Cook, longtime president of Dreyer’s Grand Ice Cream, searched for the highest quality vanilla and uncovered a 100-year family legacy in Paso Robles, California. We harvest the fully vine-ripened beans and cure them ourselves to assure a delicate, intense, beautiful vanilla. Through our cold extraction, we have captured this exotic essence in a bottle.

I used Cook's Cookie Vanilla when I lived in San Diego, CA. Every cookie I baked had Cook's Cookie Vanilla. And I baked for police officers and firefighters, who always asked what the special ingredient in my cookies were. I never told anyone that it was Cook's Cookie Vanilla. Two years ago, I moved to Hawaii to care for my father until he recovered from his injuries. I now live in Missouri and having just found the Cook's Vanilla website was so exciting to know I can start baking again and use my "special secret" ingredient. If you want to have the BESTEST cookies, use Cook's Cookie Vanilla.

I have been baking since I was a child and never has there been a vanilla that even comes close to the flavor that you can get with this vanilla. I have been hosting a Christmas Exchange cookie party for 26 years now, I took over after my mother hosted one for 20 years. This vanilla continues to get others asking for my recipes! Thank you!

I have been baking for years and Cook's Cookie Pure Vanilla Extract is the Only vanilla I will use for all my baking and cooking needs. I have tried every brand on the market and nothing compares to Cook's Cookie Pure Vanilla Extract. That is why I order the 16 ounce bottles, because I use it so much. And it is the only extract I trust for over-all taste, smell and consistancy. And a little tip here, when your making chocolate chip cookie dough and the recipe asks for 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract, I use 1 Tablespoon of this wonderfull extract and the cookies come out perfectly moist and very aromatic.

do not use any vanilla for cookies except "cookie vanilla" after using this vanilla all other cookies i have made using other vanillas taste terrible.

I have tried numerous vanilla extracts, but this is by far the most aromatic and delicious vanilla I have ever used. Baking with this vanilla added a wonderful flavor to everything I attempted. It's perfect in Chocolate Chip Cookies, but I also use it to boost the flavor of vanilla ice cream, coffeecake, pancakes, and more. In the 20 years I've been using your Cookie Vanilla, my baking style has changed radically: I'm on a low-cholesterol, gluten-free diet.
