"Cookie Crock" Oatmeal Cookies
Ingredients
- 2 cups flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 3 cups rolled oats
- 1 cup butter
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/3 cups milk
- 1 teaspoon Cook's Cookie Pure Vanilla Extract
- 1 1/2 cups brown sugar
- jam or jelly
Directions
- Mix together flour, salt, and oats.
- Cut in butter, until well blended.
- Dissolve baking soda in milk, add Cook's Cookie Pure Vanilla Extract and brown sugar.
- Combine brown sugar mix with flour mix.
- Chill dough.
- Roll out 1/8 inch thick; cut into desired shapes.
- Bake on an ungreased baking sheet at 375 degrees, 10-12 minutes, until lightly browned.
- When cool, and just before serving, put together in pairs with jelly or jam in between.
