Vanilla Crisscrossed Peanut Butter Cookies
Ingredients
- 1 ¼ cups flour
- ¾ tsp. baking soda
- ¼ tsp. salt
- 2 tsp. Cook’s Pure Vanilla Powder, divided
- ½ cup butter
- ½ cup peanut butter
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- ½ cup packed brown sugar
- 1 egg
Directions
- Stir together flour, baking soda, salt, and 1 tsp. of Cook’s Pure Vanilla Powder
- In a mixer bowl, beat butter for 30 seconds
- Add peanut butter and sugars; beat until fluffy
- Add egg; beat well
- Add dry ingredients to beaten mixture; beat until well blended
- Shape dough into 1-inch balls; place 2” apart on an ungreased cookie sheet
- Grease the tines of a fork, then dip into the remaining teaspoon of Cook’s Pure Vanilla Powder; use fork to press down and make a crisscross on top of the cookie
- Re-dip fork in vanilla powder for each cookie
- Bake in a 375 ºF oven about 10 minutes
