The Drop That Makes The Difference |
Vanilla Cream Pie
Ingredients
- 2 cups milk, scalded
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 3 eggs
- 2 (heaping) Tbsp. cornstarch
- Pinch of salt
- 1 tsp. Cook’s Choice Pure Vanilla Extract
- 1 9” baked pie shell
Directions
- Thoroughly mix sugar, eggs, cornstarch, and salt
- Whisk into warm milk and cook over low heat until thick and lumpy
- Remove from heat
- Beat with mixer until smooth
- Stir in Cook’s Choice Pure Vanilla Extract; pour into pie shell and refrigerate
For variations, follow the above recipe and add one or more of the following:
1 tsp. Cook’s Pure Chocolate Extract
1 tsp. Cook’s Pure Lemon Extract
1 tsp. Cook’s Pure Lime Extract
