Shelly's Chocolate Chip Cookies
Ingredients
- 1 1/4 Cup Flour
- 1 Tsp. Baking Soda
- 1 Tsp. Salt
- 1 Cup Softend Butter
- 3/4 Cup Packed Brown Sugar
- 3/4 Cup Granulated Sugar
- 2 Tsp. Cook's Choice Pure Vanilla, Cook’s Pure Cookie Vanilla or Cook’s South Pacific Vanilla Extract
- 1 Tsp. Cook's Pure Maple Flavor
- 2 Large Eggs
- 12 oz. Package of Milk Chocolate Chips
- 1 Cup Chopped nuts if desired
Directions
- Preheat oven to 360°.
- Mix the flour, baking soda, and salt in a small bowl.
- Cream butter, brown sugar, granulated sugar, and vanilla.
- Add one egg at a time and beat well after each addition.
- Gradually add flour mixture.
- Stir in chocolate chips (and nuts if desired). Leave some chips to place on top of cookie drops.
- Spoon by large teaspoons on cookie sheet leaving about 2 inches between cookies. Place 3-4 chocolate chips on top of dough balls before placing in oven.
- Bake for about 8-9 minutes untill edges brown and middle is almost set.
- Cool for 2-3 minutes then transfer to wire cooling rack.
- Store in an air tight container.
- The last step is trying not to eat all of these yourself!
