Sugar Cookies
Prep Time: 1 Hour 15 Minutes | Cook Time: 5 - 7 Minutes
We recommend doubling the Vanilla, maybe even trippling it :)
Ingredients
Mix thorougly in a mixer:
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup sugar
one egg
Sift together and stir in by hand:
1-1/2 cups sifted flour
1 teaspoon cream of tartar
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
Directions
Chill dough until it's cold and pretty hard, at least one hour.
Roll out REALLY THIN, about 1/16th of an inch.
Cut with cookie cutters and sprinkle with sugar or colored Christmas sprinkles of your choice
Bake at 425 degrees five to seven minutes.
