Ingredients

3 sticks of butter (do not sub. margarine)
2 cups sifted cocoa powder
6 eggs
2 cups sugar
2 cups packed light brown sugar
2 Tablespoons Cook's Pure Bourbon Vanilla Extract
2 cups flour
1 teaspoon kosher salt

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Butter or spray with a nonstick cooking spray a 9 by 13 inch pan. Melt butter in medium sauce pan over medium flame. Remove from heat and add the cocoa powder., stirring to combine. Let cool slightly. In a large bowl, whisk (or beat) the eggs together, then add the sugars and vanilla extract, stirring to combine. Add the cooled butter-chocolate mixture, then fold in the flour and salt until just combined; DO NOT OVER MIX. Spread batter evenly in pan, making sure corners are filled. Bake for 40-45 minutes or until crust forms on the surface and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out mostly clean. Transfer pan to a wire rack; cool completely before cutting into brownies.
