Whipped Chocolate Cream Cheese Frosting
Ingredients
8 oz Cream Cheese, softened
2 Cups Semi-sweet Chocolate Chips
1.5 Cup Heavy Whipping Cream
1 Tsp Pure Vanilla Extract
2 Cups Powdered Sugar
Pinch of Salt
Directions
- Melt chocolate chips in the microwave with 1/4 cup heavy cream.
- Cream the cream cheese in the bowl of an electric mixer.
- Add in the melted chocolate chips and cream until well combined.
- Mix in the powdered sugar, vanilla, and salt.
- In a separate bowl, whip the remaining cream until stiff peaks form.
- Fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese.
- Frost a cake and refrigerate the cake until ready to serve.
