Wild about about wild cherry

One of my favorite extracts in the Cook's lineup!
Cook's Wild Cherry Extract is one of my standout standout flavors. I find myself reaching for it frequently.
It is made using the finest dark cherry juice from Washington State and then boosted with natural flavors. These cherries are juicy, flavorful, and oh so delicious! Our extract is dark, rich, and surprisingly versatile.
Some extracts in the Cook's lineup are best used in small amounts and with heat applied. This is especially true of our oil-based extracts like almond, cinnamon, and citrus flavors. This extract, however, because it has a juice base, does not overwhelm your taste while remaining strong and intense. Because of this, you can be very liberal and experimental using the wild cherry extract.
This one is one of my favorites in a cocktail or mocktail. I put a few drops in an old-fashioned for a unique flavor profile without distracting from a delicious whiskey. I also love to use it in a red wine sangria or a cherry mojito. For those drinks, I use about a teaspoon for a pitcher or a quarter of a teaspoon for an individual drink. These are just a few ideas, but the possibilities are truly endless. Try it and I guarantee you'll love it!
Now, we all have our favorite desserts to make, and my tried-and-true standbys are cake, cheesecake, ice cream, and cookie bars. For each of these desserts, the wild cherry extract is perfect. You can choose a chocolate, vanilla, or cherry base and layer in wild cherry flavors. For example, a chocolate cheesecake with a chocolate crust and a cherry swirl made with frozen cherries, wild cherry extract, and some simple syrup, or try a white cake with a cherry filling and vanilla frosting. Again, go crazy and experiment- this extract won't let you down!
Cook's wild cherry extract flies under the radar a bit because it sounds so specific, but actually, it is incredibly versatile and supremely delectable. If you love cherries, I highly recommend trying out this extract. I think I might have to go and whip up a cherry dessert because now my mouth is watering thinking about all the yummy things I could make with Cook's wild cherry extract!
