Almond Blondies


2 Sticks Unsalted Butter, softened

1.5 Cups Brown Sugar, packed

2 Large Eggs

1 Tsp Pure Vanilla Extract

1 Tsp Pure Almond Extract

1/2 Tsp Salt

2 Cups Flour

1 Tsp Baking Soda

1 Cup Slivered Almonds


1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. Grease a 9"X13" baking dish with butter. 

2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar. 

3. Add the eggs, one at a time, scraping the bowl after each addition. Add in the extracts. 

4. In a separate bowl, mix together the flour, salt, and baking soda. Add the flour mixture to the butter mixture and mix until just barely combine. 

5. Press the mixture into the prepared pan, then cover with slivered almonds. 

6. Bake for 35 minutes or until a knife comes out clean.
